The House of Representatives has suspended plenary in honour of late Senator Ifeanyi Uba who died during the annual recess of the National Assembly.
This act by the house is in line with the tradition of the National Assembly to suspend the first sitting after the death of a federal lawmaker.
Plenary is set to resume on Wednesday 25th September.
The late senator was said to have died after he departed Nigeria for the UK where he went for an operation.
He would have been 53 on September 3.
