As the world marked its International Women’s Day 2024 on March 8, women have been advised to aspire to achieve whatever they wish for.
These were the words of Dr. Mrs. Akwagwu Nneka Agbani, the coordinator (WITED) of women in technical, education and development Abia poly chapter.
She stated this yesterday during a health work to commemorate the day set aside globally to honor the struggles and achievements of the women folk, She included that gender biases should be confronted.
she also advised both the male gender and female gender to come together to make the country a beter one
Also, the Acting Rector of the school, Eng. Mrs. Chidinma Ndukwe, said she was a typical example of a woman who had scaled societal hurdle by being the first female Rector of the school, she thanked the Abia state governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR who gave her the oppourtinity.
She advised her fellow women not to settle for less but to reach their full potential to help serve the nation.
the event saw a large turnout of the women folk, who marched along the streets with a clear message for the inclusion of women in making a better society.
This year’s event is themed #INSPIREINCLUSION.
